Ohhh Keep going bro… It only gets better!!!! Feast for Crows is good… A Dance with Dragons is better…. I just finished reading some of Martins short stories.. The Tale of Dunk and Egg was pretty good it takes place long before Robert is king, when the Targaryen's still rule the kingdoms.. There are 3 short stories in the series and there all pretty cool..
started feast for crows, it is a little slower than storm of swords but i expected that. i def wont finish it in 8 days lol. disappointed that jon and tyrion povs were left out but its nice to get a glimpse into cersie's head. and yeah i plan on getting the short stories once i finish dance of dragons. hopefully he gets his ass in gear and writes the last two books before he dies.
It seems to me that A Feast for Crows was kinda never really finished and some it of is repeated in A Dance with Dragons, Mostly one of the Jon parts.. But you will dig it none the less, after reading the whole story so far, I can't believe all the character's in the book that never made it into the HBO series.. Like Vargo Holt… He should have been in the second season, along with Remses Snow, the bastard of Bolton, who put Winterfell to the torch, and also is the person who killed Sir Rodrik Cassel even though in the HBO series it was Theon.. Did you notice all the differences in the books from the HBO series.. Like everything that went down in Harrenhal in the second season is way different in the book The Clash of Kings. It kinda makes you wonder how are they going to tie those people into the series now. Plus everything that happened with Jamie's imprisonment by the Starks was at Riverrun in the book. but in the series they dragged him around from camp to camp, and never went to Riverrun so all that stuff with Cat and her dad never made it into the series. Also the fact that Rob took Castark's head for what he said to Cat after she released Jamie! Well I guess i said enough without spoiling the next season.. I hope I enticed anyone who reads this to go out and get the books, They are considerably much better then the HBO series and have a lot more information about the characters and events that unfold!!
Reek, Reek, it rhymes with sneak!!! What ever happened to Sir Barristan "the Bold" Selmy? 4 daggers you shall feel!!
It's ok to read the stuff here because we haven't talked about anything that hasn't happened already Ice, I only talked about the stuff that happened differently in the book then the series so far, and i only just scraped the surface of that as well. I read what you posted about the 3rd season and I think that they should have done that with the second season as well because there is so much stuff that got left out of the second season that is going to effect the future seasons that they are going to need to tie these events together somehow.. That's the only spoiler you are getting from me… But again.. I suggest everyone should read the books, if you don't like reading you can get all the books on audio, that's what I did. Pirate Bay has them all even the short stories, the best reader in my opinion is Roy Dotrice, his vocalization's of the character's are the best… I listened to them at work, it took about a week a book.
